A Growing Community

Student life at Coral Reef Senior High School is incredibly supportive. Our teachers develop caring relationships with our students, allowing for the adaptation of curricula to meet the social, emotional and educational needs of everyone. Our student experience is enriched by athletics, volunteer opportunities, class trips and other exciting extracurricular activities.

"I met some amazing people from all different backgrounds and ethnicities; I met Venezuelans, Cubans, Canadians, Europeans, Asians, and much more from all over the world. Coral Reef was such a diverse school and I loved that!”

-Ariadna Fornaris

“Based on my experience at Coral Reef, I remember a lot of people from different cultures attending my school. It really helped shape the way people came together and were able to socialize amongst one another. This opened up many opportunities for students to build communication with others and that’s something I was really grateful to experience during high school.”

Coral Reef Senior High School Updates

“Something significant about Coral Reef Senior High School is not only the diversity of people’s ethnicity, but the diversity in people’s talent. Being able to meet people with all kinds of different traditions and cultures, different people stand out to you. From the dancers to the math club to the singers to the gardeners, I met and got to know so many talented people. Ricky Ubeda, the winner of season 11 on So You Think You Can Dance, graduated in 2014 from Coral Reef! Many of my friends got accepted into amazing schools such as: Yale, Barnard, UF, and much more. Coral Reef is known to be ‘Miami’s Mega-Magnet’ and I truly believe that.”

Faculty Life

"Being able to learn under a faculty who were so dedicated to the teaching us and helping us as students grow with different perspectives and teaching abilities really made a positive impact on most of us. Overall, the school is filled with teachers who care about their students’ success and that meant a lot to me in my years of high school.”

-Katherine Crespo

"A lot of the teachers at Coral Reef were always enthusiastic to help you whether you’re having personal problems or questions on college applications and that was something I truly appreciated. All in all, the staff at Coral Reef is one of the best staffs I’ve ever seen!”
